We’re still working through glitches but the core flow of the experience *should* be debugged at this point. Right now, I’m the question master. The first thing on my list each morning is pulling together the questions + game insights for each matchup. This always takes so much longer than I feel it should so I’m very grateful we’re down to just two NBA playoff games per day compared to the four games / day in the first round of the postseason 😅 One day, we’ll have live data and automated insights. I’m dreaming until then… That product roadmap is getting long!

After announcing her retirement just two weeks ago, WNBA legend Candace Parker was named the President of Adidas Women's Basketball. Parker was the first woman in NCAA tournament history to dunk and in 2010, she was the first woman to have a signature shoe with Adidas. In her new role, Parker will oversee Adidas’s product lines for women’s basketball.
LSU turned Chicago Sky player Angel Reese attended the Met Gala on Monday, becoming the first WNBA rookie to make a Met Gala appearance. She wore a gown from 16arlington. Here is a roundup of what every athlete in attendance wore to the Met Gala this year.
The Minnesota Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert was named NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year FOR THE FOURTH TIME. Incredible. The Timberwolves’ top-ranked defense has been so tough this series against the Nuggets. They currently lead the series 2-0 after beating the Denver Nuggets on the road. The Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic received the third MVP award of his career this week.

The WNBA is expanding! Per reports, Toronto will be home to the 14th team in the WNBA. An official announcement is expected May 23.

Superstar baseball player Shohei Ohtani’s former interpreter pleaded guilty to stealing $17M from Ohtani to cover his gambling debts.
